Yup. WE now make it easier on them. Boeing and GenDyn outsourced the work on STEALTH to China…guess what? five years later China had its own STEALTH planes. Curious, yes? Eisenhower WAS right…the Military-Industrial complex works for MONEY, and patriotism has no standing. They OWN the Pantygone, too.

I recall when people used to make cracks about Japanese products as being cut-rate knockoffs of American products. That was before the Japanese started to put out better products while still maintaining affordability. They earned their place as a world leader in manufacturing. The best way for the US to regain prominence will be to become more competitive in value and price.
Can anyone fill in more details? In WWII (as the story goes) plans were drawn up for ships, but they got stolen before they could be checked out, ie for center of gravity, etc before being approved. Enemy built several of them, and they flipped over upon launch.Moral: Know what you’re stealing!
