If Tom the bird wins, is Wiz gunna eat Tom the farmer?

This is a very good time to think about going vegan – tomatoes and potatoes, or as Dan Quayle would say: tomatos and potatos. I hear they now eat quail. Get the net!

I assume that you’re eating sustainably raised animal products, in which case you’re entitled to your opinion. But if you’re buying stuff from the average supermarket, then you should read a bit about the state of modern industrial meat production. It ain’t your grandfather’s ranch – it’s needlessly abusive to the animals, horrific for the environment, terrible for the workers, disastrous for small family farms, a drain on our tax coffers, and bad for the health of the consumer and society in general. It’s good solely for the big corporations, and by buying the products you’re condoning and supporting abhorrent practices. Corporations will change for the better if they have to, but will not bother if people are absolutely indifferent to any indecency that they wish to commit.

This is going to become a Family Guy segment with Tom doing Peter Griffin’s usual role, isn’t it?

for crying out loud, people, it’s only a cartoon! He is entitled to his opinion without any qualifiers what-so-ever, the same way that you are…
