Must be the Huns attacking your homeland before you got a chance to invade theirs (see yesterday’s WOI)…

As I think of all the pictures of the Middle East I have seen where multistory buildings are near to unrecognizable due to bombings. The wee-little hard-hat isn’t going to do a thing. If I lived in Id… Sub-basement bomb shelter for most of the kingdom might be a good idea!

Now to check to see if one has enough wine in the siege stores. Next check to see if you have enough food stored away. Check to see if you noble warhorse is safe and with enough hay and oats stored for a siege. Then you go and check to see if Gwen is safe. Now check to see if His Royal Shortness has enough food, (he is tiny, so he wont need much food, but lots of wine). NOW you check to see if peasants have enough food.

So the guy who said morning, his black hair then turns green with envy(?) when he hears the reply? I don’t really get that joke.

I’m not sure a hard hat would help against a hundred pound rock.

(wonders if the speaker in the second panel of the cartoon had mistook the dialogue in its first panel for “MOURNING”)

I think that’s the same alert they use for tornadoes in Montana.
