I call that a Draw, Dana gets mad walks away feeling she won Rita’s logic counts out Dana’s letters and characters and scores one for her mentally btw EXCELLENT art on the second panel I love both Dana and Rita’s expressions
In a way, this seems like an opening for a “You May be a Geek If…” strip. If, for instance, you actually counted Dana’s characters. Oh. I did, come to think of it… Sigh.
The novelty has been wearing off for me, of indulging the absurdity that twitter-speak can even be distinguished from normal speech, much less save any time (i.e., saying “L8R” sounds identical to “later”, unless you spell it out “ell-eight-ar” which takes longer to say).
That’s why this week has been a twist of cartoon logic. Obviously, most of it makes no sense in speech- unless one really says things like: ’Tee-tee-eff-enn," or “Ell-emm-ay-oh!”

I’m waiting for Dana to turn the contents of Rita’s water bottle into Ex-Lax in the hopes of eliminating some of Rita’s “crappy ideas”.

Is Rita Rainman?

Actually, if Dana was really conforming to tweet, wouldn’t the tirade have begun with @Rita instead of just Rita? She’s still got a long way to go.

I never understood the spelling of letters into words. I think the foreign language centre in my brain is broke.
