This is so true! I know my own employee photo is coming on four years old. Some of the longer serving employees can have 10-20 year old photos. It’s very laughable!

Lazy? Do you know what goes into writing and drawing a comic strip? It still had to be drawn, just like any other panel- there was no less work involved. And, while you seem to doubt it, there was certainly thought put into selecting the employees to show, and deciding how they would have looked. And here’s something else that may not have occurred to you: strips like this aren’t solely about providing a punch line. We’ve tried to create characters that readers can relate to, feel as if they recognize. Touching upon subjects that fall in the readers’ experience is a part of that. Read the other comments. You just may have missed the point. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But opinions are not to be mistaken for blanket truths.
I think this is great! – I don’t understand the complaints. I particularly like Rita with the “big hair”. The “clean-cut” Ed and Jay still looking like a college student are amusing, if predicatable. Younger Sue is very pretty, despite the scowl. However my favorite is Mrs. Jensen, with the many decades old black and white photo and the early 1960’s hairstyle… I’m sure many of us have seen this very thing in our own work. Obviously Carolina and CJ are too young to have old, outdated ID photos.
It’s late enough to give the answers. Many were guessed correctly, but readers had more trouble with today’s than yesterday’s. 1)Dana 2)Rita 3)Norm 4)Roy 5)Melvin 6)Nelle. Roy’s was seen once before- it’s re-inked, but essentially the same image. Yes, Norm was once confident and self possessed- as long as he wasn’t in charge of anything.
5. is that balding. potbellied redhead that thinks every women should have the hots for him. Talks only about himself. Rufus? Can’t remember the name, just the character.6. We don’t see her often. Wears really nice prints and such. Again,,,, I don’t remember the name. But can picture her quite clearly.
