That’s what happened to the photographer at my parents’ wedding. He got drunk and forgot to show up (during WW II). They have 1 studio portrait, but none of the wedding.
I always stayed sober for wedding jobs. If it was a friend’s wedding, I’d get through 80% of the event and then catch up as best I could. Some of those last 20% were my most artistic.
