True story: when SCOTUS allowed gay marriage, people on social media were condemning NBC for “changing” their news logo to mimic a rainbow flag. NBC has been “all of the colors of the peacock” longer than I have been living.
In our back yard we planted a Crepe Myrtle “tree”, which was grown abnormally to resemble a little tree. We got tired of trimming off all the lower growth, so finally my wife and I agreed that if it identifies as a bush, we’ll accept it as a bush. It seems to think it was born a bush but only looked like a tree on the outside. We’ll always remember the tree part of its life, and we’re working hard to remember to call it a bush now. It’s all good.

Does this mean that whenever we see a rainbow a thunderstorm has just come out?

Think I saw that very tree one summer in the sixties in golden gate park.

Some of us like rainbows…as RAINBOWS. I resent that a rainbow is always seen as a symbol of anything else.

My newspaper runs comics without color. Couldn’t decipher until I checked this website.
