All cell phone confiscated.
Terrorists attack school.
Teacher shot and nobody can call 911.
Confiscating cell phones and other violations of basic civil liberties by educators does NOT make our children safer.
Good point, cabrobst. Problem is, the “line” is always moving.
Cell phones even now are not seen by school officials
as the mandatory equipment they will be, say 10 years
from now. By that time, maybe give or take a few years,
students will probably get in trouble if they DON”T have
a cell phone with them in case of emergency, or, simply
if they need to call home for less urgent reasons.
