all those politicians who have nostalgia of earlier time like 1990s, 1980s, 1970s, 1960s, 1950s, etc…and wish the present was like the past are stupid. can they survive without their smartphones, or the internet, or cable news, etc…for a whole year? no, they wouldn’t. and, some pols wouldn’t be able to be elected, or get a job, or go to school. the only common element is that it was their childhood which was a happy time of their lives.
And the teachers would hit you with yardsticks, and make you carry a note home to be signed by your parents, which would lead to your father hitting you with his belt.
