In my perfect world we would cut the military budget in half, the rest would be used in humanitarian relief efforts around the world. Unfortunately, as recent events have shown, there really are bad people in the world who will not listen to reason, or at least to reasons that are not delivered by the military. That does not preclude me working to change the world, starting in my little corner of it. Compassion is contagious, pass it on.
