An excellent joke, but enjoy it while you can.

We are fast approaching the day when it will be so accepted that everyone is wired up that future readers of this cartoon will barely be able to imagine how the world could have been otherwise and they won’t get this joke at all.

We have run into a problem like this at the USPS. One guy wants to upgrade from mechanic to electronic technician, but the USPS will only communicate with him through email. He doesn’t have a home computer nor does he have an email address. He lives out away from town and has no cable and uses a cell phone and has no hard line to his house. The USPS is completely inflexible in their position.

The fact maybe that, this way is way simpler, no hassles, no wasted time in commuting, waiting, preparing, etc. You should get immediate response & don’t even have to leave your home but the problem is people, including me, are so afraid of learning new things that make our lives much simpler.

I had a great laugh, thank you. I work at promoting my husband’s business in the antiques industry, and am currently trying to link all of the regional antique dealers together using the free on-line marketing tools.

I love this Grandma. She must belong to vanisleantiques.com!
