Adam: I love this time of year, son. Clear days and crisp nights. Clayton: And Halloween candy! Adam: Halloween is 20 days away. You need to wait until then for the candy. We're here to pick out the perfect pumpkin to make a jack-o'-lantern. Clayton: What's the perfect pumpkin? Adam: Well, first it's got to have a good stem. I like stems that are a little slanted-like this one. Clayton: What else? Adam: The right pumpkin h as to be thick and round. With room for a silly grin. Clayton: Hey, you just described your head, dad! Thick, round and silly-looking! Err...I meant thick, round and ruggedly handsome. Adam: Nice try, but you're still not getting any candy until Halloween. Clayton: Well, I gave it a shot. Adam: Points for that.
I like how in the last panel both the pumpkin and Adam have the same sort of cowlick.
