Adam: Unbelievable, these two trucks have been driving waaaay under the speed limit for the last 20 minutes. Clayton: So? Adam: So!? They're blocking both lanes no one can pass. Clayton: We're not in a hurry. Adam: That's not the point! It's about courtesy. Clayton: Courtesy? Adam: Yes. On a highway, the right side is for traveling and the left side is for passing. Clayton: So if they block the left lane, it's inconsiderate? Adam: Exactly, my boy! You've learned an important lesson today. Clayton: Don't block the passing lane? Adam: Yes, and even more philosophically: share the road. Treat other drivers like you'd like to be treated. Clayton: What about passengers? Adam: Well, you... You should always treat them well, too. Clayton: Excellent! To the dairy cow for waffle cones!

Bet if that was a “smokey” (state trooper) behind them insteadof Adam and his son, they would be doing “road courtesy”.

“Left Laners” are far too common and present a big hazzard to other motorists. It is not only truckers…

Or worse; they might have their windows rolled down, having a conversation with each other.
Some areas have minimum speed limits on highways. Do cops ever write minimum speeding tickets?

How nice: an excellent Public Service Announcement on the Rules of the Road, with a zapper at the end to keep it from being preachy. Well done!

What’s a guaranteed way to get a slow driver in the left lane to speed up (assuming the right lane is empty)? Pass the driver on the right. Works every time.
