Parents have been asking the same questions for generations. Kids have been giving the same answers for about as long. And while he can learn to ask more specific, open-ended questions, it’s a lot better than a lot of parents who ask nothing / say nothing to their kids and have no idea what is going on in school. So Kudos to him for at least asking.

Everyday I ask my children to tell me about their day. The older ones give a shorter description usually but i get more than “fine”. My 7 year old will go on and on. I haven’t been reading long enough, didn’t know there was a baby.

At least one may get an athletic scholarship. (Recess at that age equals phys. ed.)

probability of offspring residing in basement well into their twenties….alive, well, and increasing in likelihood

So glad baby Nick is back, even if just for his adorable expressions!

Now that’s different of what the kids say.

I did well enough in elementary school but recess was still usually my favorite part. By middle school the only recess we had was at lunch and the playground was way more crowded.

Best part of work, break time, lunch time, quitting time. And not necessarily in that order.
