Adam: Oh, wow. Do you smell that? That's my first full-on sniff of spring in the air. A nice, full bouquet of fertile soil... ...Hints of Kentucky bluegrass... A whiff of Spring showers. The gentle notes of a sun-baked sidewalk... And finally, a light finish of blossoming Irises. Katy: I smell dog poop. Adam: It's all part of the majesty, darling.
Irises are mid to late spring flowers and have no discernable smell. Basset should have used daffodils which do bloom in early spring and have a scent. I guess he’s not a gardener and dosen’t have the thirty seconds to waste researching the subject.
