Clayton: Where's dad? Laura: In the garage, working on my car. Clayton: Working on your car? Dad?? Laura: That's what he said. Clayton: Dad dad? My dad? This could be bad. He once told me a carburetor was a fridge for donuts and bread. Laura: True. He isn't very mechanical. Maybe you should go check on him. Clayton: He's using gum on a straw to fish a french fry out from between the seats. Laura: My hero.
I’m lucky. I read directions, take time to think (too long according to everyone), and so far all my DIY projects have been fine. Shelves, fixing the car, doors, bathtub, eaves, washing machine, next up the electrics in the house.
