I had insomnia, and would take Unisom every other night (two nights in a row kept me awake ALL: night). I started taking L-Triptophan (3×1000mg) at bedtime, am now down to two. Sleep much better and no grogginess in the morning .

Everyone is a champion at something. You found your something Adam. I guess I’m lucky – I’ve never had problems sleeping. I’m not as good as Adam, though.

If I slept on my back I would think sleep apnea. But its really lack hours for sleep and I recently read that fluorescent lights, because they flicker at a very high speed, can cause drowsiness. so that’s going to be my excuse at work. Since my desk is no long next to a nice large window with wonderful natural light, the high speed flicker of the overhead fluorescent lights (and the nasty glow from the computer screen) are causing my drowsiness and my sudden, unexplained naps. that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
