    If we could make ourselves immune to all diseases, we would probably live forever. Unless people stop having babies, we’d have a worse over-population problem than we do now. Besides, an occasional bout of illness keeps us humble.

    The best way to get better immunity, is to get that occasional bout of illness. Just don’t some random pill or tonic as soon as you feel down – let it run the course, and let the body tackle it. Not easy when you feel a heavy head and a stuffed face, but lots of warm water to drink can do wonders.

    Our kids are in their teens now, and it’s been more than decade since we visited the doctor for any illness (other than the dentist of course). So I feel like this is a proven strategy.
