Clayton: Is it really the end of January already? Adam: It is. Clayton: I swear time is speeding up. How can that be? Adam: Well, it's all relative. When you were four, a month was 1/48th of your life. But now a month is around 1/100th of your time on Earth, so it feels shorter. Clayton: Wow. So it's, like, 1/10,000th of yours? Adam: Yep. Goes by fast. I took a nap last year and missed September.
I guess the ‘time speeding up’ concept might explain why there’s no ‘XI’ on the clock face in the first panel … at least I’d rather think that rather than that Rob just forgot to draw it in…… LoL
