Probably M8’s for the VESA standard mount.

Try the local Ace or True Value.

I think they should teach real life in High School. The only thing I’ve used is typing. Learning about loans and mortgages and such would have been much more useful than trig! How many times do you go to the market? I think learning how to shop and budget would be preferable to X’s and Y’s which I still don’t get!

Wait until you have to argue with your spouse… while you’re getting ready for work… on your birthday… while you’re sick. Longest level EVER!

Four screws – four different sizes and three types of slots. Standard, Phillips, and Euro.

We still have a small, independent hardware store near us with knowledgeable employees. You tell them the problem and they show you exactly what you need. No multiple return trips. (We also have 2 big box stores and several chain stores in town.)

Home Ec has morphed into Famiy and Consumer Sciences (or Studies), which encompasses family finances, conflict resolution, and nutrition. In most cases, however, it is not a required class for either girls or boys. Interesting timing on this; I had to talk my husband through emergency shirt collar button sewing 101 over the phone Sunday night. It wasn’t a required class for boys in the 1960s.

I use algebra and trig in my daily life frequently. They help a lot living on rural acreage.
