“Back in my day” sounds like he’s his own grandpa.

That is probably how a lot of kids have approached this last year.

Ah, how times have changed. Around here they declare a snow day the DAY BEFORE just based on the forecast of an inch. In MY day (back in St. Louis), we had to get up around 5am on the day after 3-4 inches had fallen to find out if our school was cancelled. It normally wasn’t.
