The same entertainment comes from not wearing one. They say to wear two now because one doesn’t work.

It’s scarier when you are related to the people who are anti-mask. Knowing that you share genes with people like that is concerning. Within me is there the potential to be that willfully ignorant? Could my children end up like these people? Thinking blatantly stupid things like changing safety recommendation means the recommendations were/are invalid.

If you don’t wear a mask, don’t wear a mask, if you wear a mask, wear a mask. But don’t harass people over there choice, you don’t know why they aren’t wearing one; I cant wear one because of breathing problems, it hurts my lungs, and I can’t tell you how much crap I get for it, its depressing.

Wearing masks, social distancing and washing hands constantly has caused the amount of people having the flu this year to be much less than a “normal” year. I had a lab diagnosed case of the flu in 2017 and it was 2 weeks of hell. Just for this reason alone I feel safer wearing masks, other people’s opinion be damned. However, if I see people not wearing masks, I just stay away from them – no harm, no foul.

My dad always said that there is nothing wrong with this world, but there is something wrong with some of the people in it

I can wear a mask, but it’s extremely uncomfortable since less than half of my lungs work. 341 days and counting in the house.

Worse are the millions who “pretend” to wear a mask. The ones that fall off the end of the nose at every step or are made of decorated tissue paper. If it doesn’t swell up when you breathe out and shrink when you inhale, it’s not filtering anything. You can’t fool a virus with a “fashion accessory”. If you have the lung capacity for indignant shouting in a public place, you can safely wear a mask.

I actually do have a lung condition (emphysema) that makes breathing difficult. Because of that, if I get Covid it’s likely to kill me. I wear the best mask I can get, a Castle Grade respirator. Subjectively it does feel like it makes it harder to breathe, but objectively it doesn’t affect my blood oxygen. I know because I’ve measured it.

We live in Western Australia, and thanks to our PM doing a hard border close, we have had less Covid cases than the rest of the country. If we have to wear masks at times, we wear them. Which we will be doing when we go to Perth in May, if indicated. My husband and I both have asthma, but I’d rather wear a mask in public than risk my already shaky health going maskless.

I wear a mask because it`s really cold outside and it keeps my nose warm while I stand in line to get in the store.

I willingly wore a mask until I had both my vaccine shots. Now I can neither catch nor give the Wuhan Corona Virus (WCV). There 10s of 1000s of us each day. Why must we continue to wear a mask?
