Lots of people with phones are so rude.

Being congenial can be annoying!

April is beginning to remind me of a Warner Brothers cartoon about Little Red Riding Hood, created by Tex Avery.

We used to have a sign at the counter, no cell phones. The main reason was because when dealing with money, you need them to pay attention. Really didn’t work and caused many arguments about money and use of cell phones. Not to mention that it is very rude to the cashier.

I’ve seen signs that ask people not to use their phone while they’re at the checkout.

Don’t say mouse if Tabby is in earshot.

Only reason I use my phone at checkout is to scan the loyalty card on Stocard. Or if I’m paying with Afterpay

Yep. But customers like her are a REAL pain. In fact anyone you are conversing with who starts a side conversation on their mobile is rudely arrogant
