I’ve had ear problems all my life, several surgeries included. Wax removal is just one part of the drill. Hang in there, Agnes! It may look bad (and sometimes it is); but you’re better off in the end.
I have verified hearing loss, mid-range where most voices fall, and have / hear the most amazing conversations. Yesterday I heard a radio ad for a foreign airline boasting that their on-board sommelier would carefully match a ferret to your gourmet in-flight meal. Oh, the mental cartoons! You can’t BUY fun like that.
I can’t get over the shoulder patch “Ears R Us”. She must have a truck with a bell only the chronically waxed can hear..I have had no success with the ear drops. The docs here use the warm water and giant syringe to pressure wash the wax out. – That can be painful. And it feels like water is left inside your ear. .Try candling. A waxed long narrow cone is placed open pointed end in your ear. Not jammed in. Just placed. The other end is lit. Yes. for those few who haven’t heard, you lie on your side, with a lit candle burning down to your ear. .Candling is relaxing. Take a nap. Just make sure you have something between your face and the candle (foil covered paper plate works great) and someone with you monitoring things.
