When I was a kid we all believed that a daddy longlegs was more poisonous than a black widow, but because of the way the mouth parts were designed, they were unable to bite humans.A few years later my high school science teacher said that was all just a widely-held misconception. They aren’t poisonous at all.
I’ve never been to Costco, but suddenly, I think I’m really missing something and really need to see a butter container of THAT size… (Oh God: I think I just started my bucket list!)
My wife once did a science fair project involving spiders that got her a national award. She had to purchase her spiders (all the same species) by mail order.
In my family we have always played with Daddy Longlegs up to the point of accidently pulling off legs none of us ever have been bitten? We think they are cool!
Frugal…. bucket list indeed….if it’s a shopping list for buckets and tubs!Alas, I’m not sure they actually sell such a thing…they might … but I don’t want you paying for membership on the off chance.
I know the least you can get there is 3 or 4 one lb boxes wrapped together…that’s why I don’t buy my butter at Costco….and a larger size for restaurants.
They do sell a lot of things in gallons though….
I’ll check the butter next time I’m there and report back.LOL!I love Costco… you have to buy large packages, but things like paper towels don’t spoil.

A quick look at Wikipedia verifies Mr Young to be correct.

I think I will come back next week Agnes, spiders or insects closely resembling spiders creep me out. I do like when Garfield smashes them though.

Agnes is wearing a hat and coat; mid-winter is not the time to go looking for spiders of any sort.

Back in the 80s there were plenty of daddy long legs here in central FL. They seem to have vanished.
