We had lawn seats at the infamous July 2, 1995 Grateful Dead show at Deer Creek outside Indianapolis. My then 7 year-old daughter was using a ballpoint pen to draw dancing bear “tattoos” on her younger brother’s arms. All the folk around us wanted one too. Years and years later, I have had people at other shows come up to me and say “Aren’t you the guy whose daughter…”
I always thought you could remove tattoos with lasers, but while technically that’s feasible, you can’t actually get your skin back to the pre-tattoo stage.
