Agnes, people get arrested for taking people’s money and then not completing the project! At least, they do in my area. And as stated above, you need a contractor’s license for that.
I’ve worked with so many Agnes-clones during my career. Great excitement at the start of the project, followed by lose of interest, and an eagerness to start something else new.
