Well, now I need to know the proper usage of “pick-up” vs. “truck”. This is something that has never crossed my mind, but now it’s stuck there.

“Scallywag” was a term used to describe (after the US Civil War) a White Southerner who supported policies of Black emancipation. Scallywags were viewed as traitors by their fellow Southerners.
