   The plug in ultrasonic pest repellers work great! I had a mouse in my kitchen that was eluding my humane traps. Tried the plug ins, and no more mice OR bugs in 15 years. Chemical free and humane.

   I do have a noticeable belly. I was standing outside smoking one time, and a random lady stomped up to me and read me the riot act for a good solid minute about smoking while pregnant. I just let her go on. When she was done, I said “While I appreciate your obvious concern, I am not pregnant. Just a fatty.” She was so embarrassed, I actually felt sorry for her.

   I am so sorry for you too. Unfortunately, we can’t always protect them from the bad guys. I have taught her not to hesitate to fight back, run, cause a scene, or tell. Both times it happened to me, I thought it was my fault so I stayed quiet. I won’t pass that mentality on to my girl!

   Yeah well, I was a free range kid in the late 70’s/early 80’s. Riding bikes, going to the pool, hanging at friends’ houses and whatnot. Home when the street lights came on. And I was molested twice. So, I’m not sorry to say I always know where my daughter is and who she is with. She seems to be muddling through and enjoying her childhood in spite of it.
