The first time that I really felt grown up was when I made home made biscuits (please note, my first attempts at making biscuits were as hard as rocks!) and gave them to my parents. My Mom said they were delicious and my Dad smiled and gave me a, Thumbs up…with both hands! That’s when I knew I was an adult!
Love the discussion of all of the above. I feel deprived of a rite of growing up. We never had Tupperware, nor ever attended a Tupperware party. However, I do love the inherited Pyrex frig containers and a complete set of mixing bowls (each a different color).
