My mom hates that I use a scrubby sponge to do dishes. But I have a holder that lets it air dry, and it is no less gross than a smelly dish rag. We also have regular dish rags, the aforementioned scrubby, a Euro-scrubby for really caked-on stuff, and some various Norwex dish washing cloths (the one that is like a net is my favorite). What do you folks prefer? (If you answer “the dishwasher”, that’s Dan’s preference, too.)
When my wife yells from the living room, “Honey, did you get the dishwasher loaded?” I say "Yes, ma’am " as I crack open my fifth beer while standing over a sink full of suds.

Some generics are just fine ~~ others, not so much. Trial and error. Dan found the error.

I think most couple could be called “The Boringtons” if we looked at their(my) day-to-day.

In my house, conversations go, “MEOW! MEOW!” “Ok, Ok, I’m getting more food for you.”

I use smelly dish rags, but I’ve heard that the Norwegian dish rag is great.

Looks like Dan follows one of the ground rules of our home: those who eat the food must prepare the instruments needed for the next feast.
