Once we had the Christmas tree up until February. The poor thing was budding

It’s never good to “rush” into doing something. One should take their time and work up slowly to the actual act.

One of our neighbours didn’t throw out his Christmas tree until June.

You can leave it up until All Saints Day, but you’ll just have to put it back up again a few weeks later. Better to save the effort for something important.

Saw a neighbor around the block taking down his Christmas lights yesterday. And in the present day timeframe (not four years ago), this is the second Sunday in Lent. Movable feasts are so confusing…

….come to think of it, Amanda, I still have Christmas bells on all my doorknobs still…but I love them so I’ll keep them up ALL year! ☺️☺️☺️☺️

We left up our tree and all of our Christmas decorations up until the day after the Super Bowl. We couldn’t get together and open presents because first my wife caught Covid (second time), then our son, and then his wife. Fortunately, all of the cases only had mild symptoms (like a bad cold) because they were all fully vaccinated.

Only 10 more months til Christmas!

A pillow case with “Happy Easter!” ? A some bunny ears if you have some in a box in the garage. A string of white blinking LED lights is pretty generic as an outline.

I still have a few small Christmas decorations out. It’s an INFJ thing. We’re quirky that way. (◔◡◔)

Ever since I read the King Arthur stories when I was a kid I’ve been looking up Pentecost, as I just did again. It takes me a day or two to forget it.

My “Christmas Wreath” has been hanging on my front door since December 2020. It was a present from a friend. I had to take down the Easter Bunny who had been hanging there for 5 years.
