OK: I got fixated on the chaplet. I’m a student of religions and was wondering what it was. So, I found an article on Simply Catholic about chaplets, and it had The Best Statement Ever in it: “However, they are not toys, and children who use rosary beads as handcuffs on their little brothers should be corrected, gently but clearly.” I can totally see this happening in one of Amanda’s CCD classes. >
