I’m reminded of the Kliban "“Out of the way you swine! A cartoonist is coming!” strip.

That’s why I’ve always admired cartoonists, coming up with new material every day is tough. Especially one panel comics.

As a fellow cartoonist, I totally understand! I sometimes thumb through my 30 years worth of cartoon idea drawings, whenever the well runs dry!

I’d never pictured cartoonist as having a glamorous life. It seems like hard work, constant deadlines, and putting your wonderful work out there for scrutiny. Who’s been telling Amanda tales?
