Reminds me of Martin Mull’s late night talk show series “Fernwood Tonight”. He had the famous puppeteer Shari Lewis on as guest. When there was an inadvertent coffee spill, Mull’s assistant, Fred Willard, picked up the hand-puppet “Lamb Chop” and mopped up the spill. The look on Shari Lewis’ face was only exceeded by Martin Mull’s exasperated “take”. I never laughed so hard during a regular late night show.
