That’s good question. I also wonder about Flo’s father???
It is evident that Flo’s mother has not only been the most negative influence in her life, but has also been the most destructive factor in Flo’s happy marriage. Her mother, for whatever reason, has become a misandrist and has tried to make Flo one as well. She has tried for years to destroy Flo’s marital bliss.
Andy’s only option is to go to the pub, rather than stay and fuel their senseless hatred for men by his presence. Staying away will also frustrate his mother in law’s attempts to escalate the situation until it reaches a point where she and Flo will do physical harm to Andy.
We all hope and pray for the best for you Andy. Have a drink, throw a few darts, tell a few stories with your mates, and try to ignore the abuse as best you can. Soldier on my friend, we all support you.
