Always keep extra universal remotes in a drawer so you always have one.

My wife walked into the den and asked me, “What’s on the TV?”. I said, “Dust”! Just got out of the hospital. (I know, it’s an old joke!)

A remote is one thing I can do without, said a construction worker. It will be a sad day when I get so lazy that I can’t tell my wife or daughter to get up and change the channel.

Up and down to change the channels? Who is this man and what happened to our Andy? And I’ll bet if he looked in the sofa cushions, way down deep, he would find the remote!

How do you “lose” a remote? It never leaves the house or even the living room, so it must be there somewhere.
