Still makes me wonder what Andy’s parents are like. Hopefully not as equally lazy and inconsiderate as Andy himself.

The first day of fall and Mother Nature gave us a nice little cold front here in East Texas. It’s 62 degrees, but feels more like 32 after an entire summer of temps bouncing off 100 every day. I’m gonna make a pitcher of Bloody Marys and go sit on the porch to see what being cool feels like.

Andy’s parents probably moved to the other side of the world to get away from him; that’s why we never see them.

I don’t think any of the panels were really wasted today (then again, neither was Andy wasted today……..), because they actually did what they were supposed to and built up the suspense. And the last panel was excellent!@beviekI hope you had a happy birthday yesterday. I didn’t check back so I didn’t realize, sorry about that! Went to the Plaza Art Fair yesterday. The art crew on “Andy” should’be been there; they might could have learned a few things!

I would do what Andy is doing in today’s strip if I had a crabby mother-in-law.Flo’s ‘murder expression’ in the last panel is utterly priceless.LOL xxx

Maybe your art is just sleeping for awhile. I picked a time to go out when I could have gone a little later or at 7:30, but I was busy at stuff that early. Today is bright sunny and comfortably temperate. Projected high of 75 (F). -Made salsa this morning with the peppers and tomatoes that Joe brought home from the garden Thursday. Brian, whose family owns the house next door, gave Heather a hand moving a mattress over and visited for a bit. I gave him some of the salsa. He sampled and liked. -The hardware opens 7 or 7:30 during the week. Did a brakes inspection earlier and have some other chores to do with the truck before the next trip. -Thanks for the homecoming !____________________________________

You are welcome for the ‘Homecoming’ It really is good to see you back in our ‘family’ and I’m sure everybody here would agree.-Glad Brian like your salsa. Heather sounds like she has wonderful neighbours. -The weather here has been lovely. Although I think now I’ll always prefer it when it’s raining hard. I just like hearing the sound of it landing on the ground and against the windows. -I hope you are well and that your Sunday got off to a pleasant start.

Crustaceans and Molluscs in general are concidered unclean. The Pentateuch permits only those Fish that have Fins & Scales; other Fish are prohibited. Swimming Creatures that are not Fish (i.e. Sea Horses [a Fish w/o Scales actually] or Squid [Arthropod]) are included in this prohibition. Land Animals have Kahrut to-meet. Porcine don’t chew Cud; It isn’t about the Hooves.

I saw your reply and after I posted the question to you, I wondered if it had something to do with them being bottom feeders. I had a very dear friend who was Jewish many years ago, I sure miss him! He was one of my best friends! We had a lot of interesting conversations and learned a lot about each other’s religious beliefs.

I am Roman Catholic, not a go to Mass every week Catholic, like my one Catholic friend calls me a “Cafeteria Catholic” which I rather resent, but I like her so I let it pass! LOL!
