Florrie’s not the only Hartlepudian wishing for an Exterminator.

There was a biz where I lived named ‘Husband Exterminators’ – I was always afraid to ask.

Good morning all of you wonderful people. I feel that I have made new friends also. I have good and bad news this morning. The bad news is I got in trouble at the ICU department last night. When I was showing Linda the pictures here and at Citizen Dog with all the artwork and good wishes, Linda started bawling her eyes out and of course her blood pressure went up and started an alarm and a nurse and Intern came in and told me I could not bring her laptop in with me again. They confiscated it until I was ready to leave, then let me pick it up at the desk. Linda said not to mind them, that they were healing tears, and she planned to do all she could to get out of ICU and into a room that has fewer restrictions. The good news is, I KNOW she is getting better, because she called what they call coffee, pig swill and had me go down to the Starbucks in the cafeteria and get her a real coffee. Nothing fancy, just black, no sugar. Now thats the Linda I know! I bet by Monday she will be in a regular room and can keep her laptop with her!She and I have a history of helping each other through difficult times, and we also have a history of making some good times happen after those difficult ones. The deaths of our respective husbands meant a trip to Hawaii, the loss of precious pets meant working with the local rescue league and fostering other animals that needed homes, the death of my son in Afghanistan meant an Alaskan cruise, (and yes Beviek, we proved we still have the stick skills, much to the chagrin of some old crotchety alaskan men) the death of her grandson meant a trip to Texas to visit her family, and eat some of the best food ever prepared by human hands. If I was a southerner, I would weigh 400 lbs! There are many more instances, but you get the picture I am sure. Speaking of pictures, heres Lindas for the day. Have a terrific weekend everyone.

I got a phone I can take wherever I go, what more do I need !!?-She loves people and will try to shred other cats. She had been placed for adoption at a Petsmart store and was kept in a cat carrier for 3 months since she would not “get along and play well with others”.-Feel free to get a new one of you at the horse place or some other fave hangout. I’m looking for something with a transparent metal alloy screen, if such exists. You shouldn’t be able to break that !-Do I feel like a hug post ?(like a scratching post only more fun)-I feel that ‘closer to the group’ feeling too !-I’ll just keep on rollin’ along. -There’s been an uptick…she is feeling better and has gone back on dialysis. Will be in for most of next week before going to rehab. -One Romantic deserves another.-Happy “wet and soggy” Saturday to YOU !__________________________________________________My phone is difficult for texting. It’s a touch screen. Call me old fashioned but I prefer the buttons. I have an LG Viewty Snap. It’s pretty cute actually but the battery life is so poor that I can’t listen to music for a long amount of time.-All cats are unique just like humans are but she sounds like a lovely cat to me. If I was more of a cat person, I think I would probably steal her. Haha.-That’s what I’ve been thinking, I would have liked to get a photo of me at the stables feeding the horses. You wouldn’t see the horses properly. All you would be able to see are their noses sticking out from the large gaps in the railings. -I really hope you get a screen like that. The other avatar of me I had on… You said it repaired some of the damage when FANOLIO enlarged it.-Yes you do feel like a hug post!-That is wonderful news! I hope my prayers helped. How long will she be in rehab?-That was a catchy song. Loved the guitar sounds!-To answer your question about the post-Smythe strips. They are available on GoComics. Just go to the calendar where the years are listed and you’ll see they start from 2002 to 2014. That is shocking…

I ran into a buddy that I hadn’t seen in in thirty years and asked him how he was. Not so good he said,I just buried my third wife. I said that was terrible what happened? Well my first wife died from eating poison mushrooms then my second wife died from eating poison mushrooms,my last wife died from a fractured skull. How did that happen I asked. He said she wouldn’t eat her mushrooms.

This is set in Britain, there won’t be a gun shop over the road.
