@Afficionado Busy: Very soon after my retirement I wondered how it was possible to get everything done and hold down a full time job at the same time. The only explanation that makes sense is that I used the job to procrastinate on the other stuff. Which is worse: to drown in the canal or drown in the chores – glug glug.
Good for you, Affie. I was only 3 or 4 when you retired. If it was before December 16th, I really was a “Number Three” Apparently my retirement day is 16th December, 2062!
I’ve been out and about today. First I went to buy my Norton Antivirus, then I went to the Bar & Grill place where I usually go for a pint of Coke and then I went to KFC. Staying in tomorrow.
Asking for politics to be kept out of the comics is like asking a vegetarian to eat a steak. Can’t be done.
