@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp will be a moocher from the cradle to the grave, so he evades school reunions :o) when we had our secondary school re-union the lad that all the teachers said would not amount to anything , now is a tycoon owning a private dockyard , a maritime rescue ship of abandoned ships which then he legally owns and high rise cranes , he offered to sell me an M-16 which I always wanted but I declined all my guns are licensed , my avatar is a picture of Walt Disney’s first animated movie “Snow White and the seven dwarves” ,in the good old days we used to play a game comparing the characters with our gang , bev was Snow White ,I was Doc , you were Sneezy because you had a sneezing fit , at the time but I can’t remember the rest do you? how was your day?ours should be busy but calm I hope , it’s not raining and Connie is in a good mood :o) keep safe and thanks for caring Starlet.
Wow. Good for him! Teachers now are still incredibly unsupportive and lack empathy and understanding. It only takes one to ruin the reputation of the lot.
This is not related to somebody proving themselves but one of my cousins is a gay woman and her and her partner Kelly have 2 children. The oldest one Abby is autistic and apparently the teachers were trying to force Abby to join in with something but it was too much for her to handle with having sensory issues and she ended up getting all upset. Kelly was absolutely annoyed at the teachers and rightly so. No child should be forced into anything when they clearly can’t handle it.
Abby is not related to us by blood as Kelly gave birth to her, not my cousin but I was quite annoyed on her behalf as well.
And yes, mentioning my cousin is gay was relevant. I needed to give context (Abby not being blood related etc)
Sorry for the essay, pal. Stay safe, stay well and stay happy. Love to Bella.
Well, that’s one good reason to avoid a school reunion. Frankly, I will never attend a high school reunion. I prefer to leave that sort of thing in the past. (I’m not saying I had a bad time in high school, just that I’d rather not revisit those those years.)

How did the British public schools work their meals in Andy’s school days? Weren’t the meals paid for by the fees parents paid for the school?

Well, that’s a surprise! To know Andy went to school, that is… :D

Andy seems to think of it as crowd funding.

A lifelong vocation. How did he not get pulverized in the Army? Or maybe he did and it was just the “cost of doing business”?

I can see that Andy is as unchanging as Norm Peterson.

Well there’s that and the fact there’s no beer there.

I never had dinner money at school. I took a packed lunch instead which was just as good.
P.S. I would have stayed up until the turnover but there seems to be a delay with it. Waited until 5:30am UK time but gave up and went to sleep.
