    Andy stuck in traffic? I’ve never seen him drive (or even take public transport).

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny but a variation of a theme our HERO Mr Andrew Capp just goes to the job centre because he has to, to keep on collecting the dole so in the job interview he told the truth so he wouldn’t get employed :o) my avatar is a spoof about Microsoft Windows shutting down your PC , like it used to happen to mine when Windows 10 first came out ,but now my desktop is working fine with the revised version , how was you day? ours should be very busy but we should cope I hope , it’s not raining and no errands to run , keep safe and thank you and the cappers that accepted my apologies.

    But the police feed him— and without the need for work too.

    I once asked a job applicant why they wanted to work for me. They replied in all sincerity," My probation officer told me I needed to get a job. "

    Employers say they want honesty from their staff, but when they get it….

    It’s not like Andy wanted the job in the first place.

    I applied for a job and they asked me if I had any reason to not work weekends. Now they never said anything about weekend all through the process. They did say Monday to Friday 8 to 4 was work hours. I felt this was an affront so I said, “I can’t work weekends as I’m spending them in the local jail to fulfil my sentence”. He still hired me. I found out why within 3 weeks. Most horrid job I ever had.

    Yes Andy, you’ve got to learn to “cell” yourself better!

    I no longer believe that honesty is the best policy. I’ve been honest many times and instantly regretted it.

    I am not a full blown liar but I specialise in little white lies.

    @Afficionado

    I still have Windows 7. Never upgraded to Windows 10 and it works just fine for me. I have a very good Anti-Virus software which I have a year’s subscription for until it expires and then gets renewed.

    I’m happy to say that I made another successful blood donation today. However, I NEARLY got rejected because there were red marks on my arms which the nurse thought was eczema. She asked for a second opinion and the other nurse pretty much confirmed that because it wasn’t “raised” and didn’t look like an allergy then she was happy for the donation to go ahead. Phew!

    Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. Love to Bella.

    Being honest doesn’t seem to work well for Andy.

    “But if I make an excuse like that, they might be forgiving and actually hire me . . .”
