Today’s strip IS funny , but a recent repeat, our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s list of achievements is impressive so maybe he can get a job as a waiter in a pub :o) my avatar is a picture of a tortoise and a statement of how long some animals live affecting their life span , which one would you like to be? I already resemble the turtle , I am 76+yrs old , never exercise and nap a lot ;o) how was your day? our day should be busy like our Thursdays usually are but we have no errands to run both in a good mood and expecting no visits , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
Andy’s just being humble, his greatest achievement is avoiding work. Course he’d probably say getting drunk every night without paying for a single drink. He just can’t put that on a jobs app.
I really don’t know but I love horses. They are beautiful animals. A distant cousin of mine in North Carolina has rescued horses from slaughter. She is a heroine. I’m proud to be related to her, albeit distantly.
I would hate to live for over 150 years like a tortoise can. Maybe if the world was a much better place then yes, I’d be open to living that long.
Well, the electrician came at about 8:25am which I was rather happy about because the sooner he came, the sooner I could go back to bed. I originally thought my Dad’s room had already been tested for an electrical fault but it wasn’t.
Long story short, the fault was in my room. The cause was a loose wire.

Andy needs to apply for a job at the Pub. He’s always there and he’ll excell at that job.

Wasn’t really that big of a deal. He drank all of them to half empty before carrying them.

Oh…he understood! He thought that was great!

A total fabrication. We know he didn’t buy ’em and who would trust him to find his way back to the right table with the next round.

Once again our dear Mr. Capp has found a way to avoid being hired. He’s a real pro.

Don’t do that, Flo – you’ll get the couch mucky.

But Andy’s at least being honest. And that isn’t that easy to do.

I did that many times when younger, it was called a pitcher.

Andy is thinking, “Let’s see you do that.”
h.v.greenman almost 4 years ago
The " personal achievement" is that Andy got them to the table before he drank them.

I have it on good authority that the bardames in Germany often carry 12, and with a smile.

It’s probably true that he has never achieved anything greater than that. And he’s proud of it.

It would be a skill for a waiter.

By arranging the six in a hexagonal shape one can carry 7 with that 7th being held in the centre if the hexagon.

When I stayed at a hotel in Leeds, I was impressed by how the waiters carried everything on top of each other without stumbling or dropping anything.

Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal.

Sounds like he’d make an ideal drink server or waiter, other than asking every patron to give him a pint for his good service.
vacman almost 4 years ago
My question is who bought the six pints. We all know it wasn’t Andy

I once ate two licorice ice-cream cones at once while wearing a white suit, and didn’t spill a drop.

I gotta admit, that is impressive.
