Don’t think that Andy would ever bet on a horse named “The Best”. Too obvious.

Lets’ honour Memorial day , lest we forget their sacrifice

There most certainly is something about the name “spirit” that would attract Andy.

Homer Simpson carries a card in his wallet that reminds him “Do opposite of what the boy says.” Andy should bet on any horse he doesn’t like.

Andy was going to bet a “daily double” of Strawberry Rash and Poison Ivy, but they were both scratched…

Andy recently had success with a horse called Becoming An Atheist. He should stick with Atheists and avoid Spirits.

Why does Andy always choose the horse with the coolest-sounding name which turns out to be the unluckiest runner?

I met up with a friend today and the weather was lovely. Had a great time. It’s a Bank Holiday here in the UK.

As I’m British, it’s only natural I use British-English. However when I’m on Facebook, I get a notification that the page couldn’t load in UK English so it switches to US English instead. Annoying.

It sounds like you do have the neighbours from hell. You have my sympathies.

I well remember first encountering Andy Capp back around 1959 in the early days of Reg Smythe. That was in the old Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper.Somewhere a bit later I read that is name had nothing to do with with the cap on his head.He was the long suffering Flo’s true… ’ÁNDICAPThanks – I have had over 60 years of smiles from Andy, poor Flo and all the cohorts.
