I’ve been reading the replies to my comments yesterday and on Monday. I see that one of the replies to a comment I made on Monday was to my stating that the 1959 version of Ben Hur was one of the few movies to show a Jew and an Arab as friends. Someone claimed that Ibrahim was a Roman not an Arab and that there were “no Arabs in those days”!

Ibrahim certainly considered himself an Arab rather than a Roman as one of his lines was “The Star of David will shine on your people and my people and blind the eyes of the Romans.”

Of course Andy cheats, it’s part of his nature. So, you have to blame Eric for playing pool with him in the first place. He should have known better.

This demonstrates my agruement for legal recreational marijuana. Have there ever been two guys smoking weed while playing pool and one bashed the other with a cue?

Hey, Affie.

Today was a warm, bright and sunny day. As you know, I now buy a Weetabix Breakfast Drink at the Post Office/Newsagents before I go to my volunteer job. Unfortunately they did not have the Chocolate flavoured one I usually get so I tried a Vanilla one instead. That was rather lovely as well. They’ve also got Strawberry and Banana. Which one should I try next if the Chocolate is not in stock? Strawberry or Banana? Vote now!

I went to the carvery today and had Chocolate Fudge cake for dessert with Dairy Ice Cream. Delicious! I had that AFTER the carvery of course. I can’t imagine eating in reverse. The dessert first and then the main meal. I’m sure our stomachs would be thinking “What the hell is this?”

I’ll be talking to Gweedo, RJM and Whisplicka on the phone tomorrow. They are all getting together for lunch. One day, I will be there in person…
