Andy probably steals from the poor box.

Chalkie sometimes shows a remarkable ignorance of his best “friend” Andy. Today’s strip is a particularly strong example of this. Chalkie seems to look for the best in everyone.

Andy can contribute neither in cash nor kind…of any kind!

Vicar should get a real job.

Maybe he’s already been there, Andy.

Why pretend? Just be out (at the pub).

I can not believe that thought ever occurred to Chalkie.

the vicar would be smart enough to wait for andy outside one of the pubs he visits, but I am guessing he knows he’s a lost cause.

I noticed the vicar’s expression in the last panel which made me wonder if he heard him. I would have had Andy pull Chalkie along with him into a side street or alleyway to play the game “Avoid the Vicar” ;-)

I’m happy to say that the first day at my new job went great. I was only sitting at the computer doing online training. Nice and easy. Haha.

I also had to install this app on my phone to open the security barriers to get in/out of the building. It uses Bluetooth connectivity. I’m getting my main phone repaired on Saturday. I’m having issues with the screen. Not constantly though. Glad I decided to take my spare phone today.
