I have no idea what sort of strip ‘annie’ was back in the day, but Ted Siampyak is clearly one of the best in the business these days. great art, great composition, great story lines, humor, irony, adventure……I cant say enough about this man’s talent. check out his ‘jazz age’ series….first rate!

In response to Nighthawks’ comment from 9 years ago, the writer of this story was the late Jay Maeder, who died in 2014. The artist was Ted Slampyak, who took over the duties as artist in 2004, replacing Alan Kupperberg.
