Arlo tells Gene, "Ten years ago, all the television shows were about raising children." Arlo continues, "Now, they're all about young, singel adults." Arlo notes, "Sorry, kid! You're out of fashion!" Gene laughs, "HA!" Gene walks away and remarks to Arlo, "I'm out of fashion!"
Ah, it seems Gene has learned the fine art of sarcasm.
