Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for July 28, 1997
Transcript:
Arlo has his upper body, but he his lower body is that of a grasshopper. Caption says, "This is a fable, the story of the grasshopper and the ant." Grasshopper Arlo asks, "..And I'm supposed to play this thing?" Arlo is having a drink with another guy who has the body of an ant. Man says, "Drips-dividend reinvestment programs- The way to go.." Arlo asks, "Do you think the social-security thing is as bad as they say?" Arlo complains to Janis, "If that guy calls me a 'locust' one more time.." Janis says, "Now, now! Listen and you might learn something."
When younger, I used DRIPS a lot. Now I find it more advantageous to reinvest the money in other stocks.
