Arlo takes a shower. As he showers, voice says, "You have too much stuff!" Naked, terrified Arlo dashes out of the shower as voice continues, "It's true! Pursuit of material things has insulated us fromn the essence of life!" Janis, who is blow drying her hair, angrily exclaims to Arlo, "Forget it- We've been late twice this week already!"
At least Arlo understands what the essence of life is.
